Two Hundred Twenty-Two Top Division Scores, 325 Global Caps

Wythenshawe Veterans Over 35s are situated in south the city and compete in the Cheshire-based Vets Division Premier Tier.

The lineup this season features 9 ex- Premier League footballers, with a total over 1,800 top-flight games.

This star-studded roster also boasts 222 top division scores and over 320 international caps.

They feature one forward, who scored 37 scores in over 100 games for his former club after signing for them for nine million pounds from Bundesliga club SC Freiburg in January 2012.

Cisse made his first appearance for Wythenshawe in their last home-field match versus reigning title holders their rivals and netted every one of the six goals in a six-two victory - featuring a 32-minute opening period hat-trick.

"That's a bit different but then, I enjoy running and just go inside - I'm not staying back that much," he added.

"I tell my defender 'I'm not hanging back' and that I'm just going to keep attacking.

"That movement is what I'm seeking. It's enjoyable."

"The news was spreading like wildfire they had all these former top-flight players," said Barrow.

"I felt I was a bit awestruck playing against Figueroa to be honest.

"Also Heskey came on and he's has 60-odd England appearances.

"We competed well for a good 20 minutes but then we had a man sent off and it was tough.

"We literally haven't ceased chatting about it - I was calling my mother and sibling on the journey home.

"The opponents were all dead sound, shaking our hands after the match - it was like playing a bunch of normal guys.

"Now we are eager for the return fixture."
